Plans for the regeneration of Beeston Town Centre took a step in the right direction this week after plans were submitted to the Planning Department at Broxtowe Borough Council. If the plans are approved by the Planning Committee, the town centre will see a new cinema, 120 homes being built and food and drink outlets coming to Beeston.
Councillor Richard Jackson, leader of the council for Broxtowe Borough Council said: "The second phase of the Beeston Square development has been shaped by what local residents have told us they want to see in the area and this is reflected in the planning application submitted.
